I have been a jeweler since 1983.
Prior to that I was an engineer in the Merchant Marine. I gained a total fascination with the oceans and it's life.
When I quit sailing, I opened a small shop in Lake Tahoe, California,(1983-1990), and started to make and design jewelry.
I chose marine life to be the focal point of what I wanted to create. I am self taught, and have had no formal instruction
other than gemology classes. I used to own a shop in Sausalito, California, and decided I was tired of being tied down
7 days a week. I currently spend 6 months a year in Florida, the winter season manufacturing gold and silver
jewelry, and selling at some of the top art festivals in the nation. The other six months a year I am back on the
West Coast, doing the same thing. I have complete manufacturing capibility while I am traveling, and have
clients all over the United States and Canada, as well as other countries, so orders are always shipped promptly. I am
happy to say I have a strong repeat client list, and that says something. Please enjoy this site, the designs
on it, they are from my heart and soul. As I stated in my mission statement, a percentage of the sales from this
site will be donated to some of the top marine research and conservation organizations in this country. If
you have any questions please feel free to contact me by E-MAIL at tkgoldandsilver@msn.com or call 775-772-6863. Thank you....Tony Kassebaum/Jeweler
